Role summary

We're looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Architect to lead the design and development of our mobile applications across Android and React Native platforms. In this role, you'll define architectural patterns, establish best practices, and take ownership of core mobile decisions while collaborating with cross-functional teams. You'll combine hands-on development expertise with strategic thinking to build scalable, high-performance mobile solutions that serve millions of users.

Key responsibilities

- Define end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade mobile applications using Android and React Native
- Design modular, reusable components and manage complex application state across iOS and Android platforms
- Establish architectural patterns, coding standards, and best practices for the mobile team
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Lead performance optimization initiatives—profiling, monitoring, and implementing solutions for low-latency, high-throughput mobile experiences
- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams to ensure best coding practices and security standards
- Design API integrations, microservices, and cloud infrastructure for mobile backends (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Conduct code reviews,

Required qualifications

- 5 years of professional software development experience with 3 years focused on mobile application development
- Strong proficiency in Android development (Java/Kotlin) and cross-platform frameworks (React Native)
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing mobile application architectures (MVVM, MVC, MVP, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to engineer flexible, scalable architectures that support product evolution
- Deep understanding of native mobile platforms (iOS/Android) and their design paradigms
- Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.)
- Familiarity with mobile security best practices, performance optimization, and automated testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDK integrations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders
