Senior Salesforce Developer
Ocubio | Full-time
Ocubio is building the infrastructure behind QASED, a physician-prescribed autologous biologic that supports ocular surface health. We're a small, fast-moving team scaling toward a real inflection point, and we need someone who can own Salesforce end to end, not just maintain it.
What you'll do
Own and evolve our Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud implementation as the system of record for patients, HCPs, and prescriptions. Build custom functionality in Apex and Lightning Web Components. Design and maintain integrations with our martech stack (REST APIs, OAuth) including Customer.io, Hightouch, and Twilio. Build and maintain Experience Cloud portals for HCPs and patients. Make architecture decisions that hold up as the org scales, not just ones that work today.
This isn't a maintenance role on a mature system. You're joining while the architecture is still being shaped, which means your decisions become the foundation other people build on for years.
What you bring
5+ years building on Salesforce, with the range and judgment to move between hands-on development and architecture decisions.
- Strong Apex and Lightning Web Components skills
- Real experience with enterprise integrations (REST APIs, OAuth), not just point-and-click automation
- Experience Cloud implementation experience
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Application Architect,
or similar)
- A track record of making sound architecture calls, and the judgment to know when something needs to be built right versus built fast
- Comfortable in a startup environment where you'll wear more than one hat and priorities shift
Why Ocubio
Ocubio sits at the intersection of biotech and direct patient care, and that makes this a different kind of Salesforce role. The system you build isn't tracking abstract sales pipeline, it's tracking real prescriptions, real phlebotomy appointments, real patients getting a therapy delivered to their door. The data model you design touches physicians and patients directly, and what you build shapes how smoothly that experience runs.
We're a small team on a steep growth trajectory, not a company where Salesforce is one commodity system among fifty. You'll work in close contact with the physicians and clinical leaders shaping this category, and with the growth and sales teams driving expansion, which means you'll see firsthand how the systems you build translate into patients actually getting care. Few Salesforce roles offer this much visibility into the real-world outcome of the work, or this much ownership this early.
If you want a seat where the platform you own is core to the business rather than supporting infrastructure, this is that seat.
