Responsible for assisting in Sourcing activities and phases to identify cost-saving opportunities, as well as being responsible for the introduction of new products, in the quotation, supplier allocation and ERP system update phases.
Responsabilidades.
1. Report to the managers of the different commodities on best practices in results and purchasing processes to establish benchmarks across different units, identifying ways to reduce costs, consolidating suppliers, comparing prices, and negotiating terms and conditions to propose new initiatives to the managers of the different commodities.
2. Support the managers of the different commodities in innovation initiatives by participating in and analyzing information to implement new cost-reduction projects.
3. Ensure supplier adherence to the commercial contractual terms and conditions by escalating any irregularities or critical deviations from the contract terms and conditions to the managers of the different commodities. This will ensure that suppliers meet the company's required performance indicators.
4. Ensure that materials within contracts are uploaded to the ERP system on time and correctly, updating the ERP system's purchasing parameters to ensure the system is accurate and authorized.
5. Collaborate with the engineering, logistics, purchasing, commodity management,
and other departments involved in the new product introduction process, participating in new product introduction meetings to ensure timely and proper implementation.
6. Implement risk mitigation actions for those deployed by commodity managers for the business unit, conducting supplier analyses to prevent future risks or disruptions in the supply of parts.
7. Create and manage supplier workflows, providing suppliers with the necessary documentation for confidentiality agreements and risk analysis.
8. Act as a point of contact for suppliers experiencing operational issues that affect the business unit, in order to prevent future risks or problems.
9. Perform other duties inherent to the position according to the needs of the company. Purpose: To meet the established goals of the organization.

Requisitos
EDUCATION
- University degree in Engineering or Administration.
ENGLISH LEVEL
- Advanced english.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain or materials management.
COMPUTER SKILLS
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with ERP systems (M3 preferred).
OTHER SKILLS
- Ability to manage projects with cross-functional teams, identify and recommend resources, and identify potential problems and risks.
- Ability to prepare reports.
