Essential duties and responsibilities

- Inventory management : Maintain an accurate inventory of all tools, supplies, and materials, performing regular cycle counts and reconciling inventory records.
- Receiving and shipping : Receive deliveries and verify the contents against purchase orders to ensure all goods are correct and undamaged. Prepare and stage materials for distribution to community projects or maintenance staff.
- Storage and organization : Organize and store all items in the warehouse in a logical, accessible, and safe manner.
- Record keeping : Keep detailed logs of all incoming and outgoing items.
- Safety and cleanliness : Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
- Equipment maintenance :



Perform preventative maintenance checks on all assigned material-handling equipment, reporting any necessary repairs to a supervisor.
- Team collaboration : Communicate and cooperate with the team members.

Qualifications and skills

- Experience : Prior experience in a warehouse setting, inventory management, or a related field is often preferred.
- Physical stamina : Must be physically able to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Attention to detail : A high degree of accuracy and precision is necessary for maintaining inventory records and verifying shipments.
- Organizational skills : The ability to effectively organize and manage time and workload is essential for a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability : A strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability are key for this role.
