Responsibilities
- Requires a working knowledge of life‑guarding procedures.
- Must have adaptable hours to work weekends and afternoons.
- Teach swimming lessons.
- Enforce safety policies and maintain pool facilities.
- Individual has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Will be assigned other duties as needed by the department head/supervisor.

Qualifications
- Education Requirements:
- Minimum age 17 years.
- One (1) year experience in swimming.
- Excellent swimming skills.
- English/Spanish language proficiency preferred.
- Current Red Cross WSIT.
- CPR and First Aid Certificate.
- Employment Requirements:
- Pass drug, physical, and pre‑placement screening administered by the City of Mission.
- Subject to a complete background investigation.
- Incomplete, inaccurate,



or unreported information will lead to rejection.
