JOB SUMMARY
Conceivable Life Sciences is looking for a Visual Designer to join the product team and own the visual communication layer across AURA's clinical materials, documentation, and cross-product visual brand expression. Working closely with the Senior UX Designer, they will design and produce clinical training materials, user manuals, and a standardized illustration and iconography system. Over time, they will take on shared ownership of the design of our applications and websites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
1. Design user manual, clinical training resources & new user onboarding documents and illustrations
2. Partner with the content writer to design user manuals: layout system, typographic hierarchy, illustration integration
3. Audit, standardize, and maintain AURA's UI iconography library
4. Support cross-product visual alignment across websites and applications
5. Partner with the UX Designer on visual execution of new AURA GUI features and interface adjustments, maintaining consistency with the established design system and visual language.
6. Create vector illustrations of AURA hardware, lab equipment, and biological processes for use across the system interface, user manuals, and external clinical materials.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design,
Visual Communication, or related field - or equivalent professional experience
3–5 years of experience in visual or graphic design, with a portfolio demonstrating document/publication design and illustration work
Background in medtech, scientific, or technical communication a plus
TECHNICAL SKILLS
1. Figma: fluent in component-based design systems; able to work within, critique, and actively contribute to the evolution of an established visual design system, including proposing and defining changes to tokens, styles, and component libraries.
2. Adobe Illustrator or equivalent: vector illustration and iconography creation
3. Document and publication design
4. Understanding of UI/digital design
5. Bonus: Video editing
