In this position...

As part of the Product Development and Commercial Vehicle Engineering team, you will contribute to designing and engineering world-class commercial vehicles and specialized solutions that power businesses globally.

As a Commercial Vehicle Upfit Integration Engineer,



you will bridge the gap between core vehicle engineering platforms and specialized aftermarket equipment manufacturers. You will lead the technical design, integration, and validation of custom upfit subsystems—ensuring commercial vehicle platforms deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for fleet customers while maximizing product versatility and performance.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

Lead cross-functional engineering delivery for commercial vehicle upfit subsystems across structural, mechanical, and electrical interfaces from concept design through production launch.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal product development teams and external vehicle upfitters/body builders to resolve packaging, structural, and electrical integration challenges.
Define, validate, and execute vehicle-level engineering verification plans (DFMEA, DVP&R;, circuit analysis) to guarantee compliance with regional safety and vehicle weight specifications.
