Job Summary

We are seeking a
Senior Infrastructure & Systems Developer
with strong expertise in
GCP, BigQuery infrastructure, distributed systems, and CI/CD automation
. The adecuado candidate will help maintain and improve large-scale engineering environments that support critical data platform workloads. This role is focused on infrastructure reliability, automation, developer productivity, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop infrastructure automation tools using
Python
.
- Manage and optimize
CI/CD pipelines
, including presubmit, nightly build, and test automation frameworks.
- Support large-scale
distributed systems
across multi-region environments.
- Improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of engineering infrastructure.
- Automate manual operational tasks and reduce engineering toil.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, build, and test environment issues.




- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve code health and deployment quality.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years
of experience in software engineering, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in
Python
.
- Deep understanding of
distributed systems architecture
and large-scale infrastructure operations.
- Experience with
container orchestration platforms
such as Kubernetes or equivalent cluster management systems.
- Strong experience with
CI/CD tools and build/test automation pipelines
.
- Experience working in Linux-based production environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to
Java, J2EE, or C++
.
- Experience with
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
and
BigQuery
environments.
- Familiarity with large-scale cluster management concepts (Borg or similar schedulers).
- Experience with observability, log analysis, performance troubleshooting, and automated remediation.
