Are you a Senior Accountant with extensive full-cycle accounting experience and a passion for financial accuracy, organization, and process improvement? We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented professional to join one of our clients supporting a portfolio of luxury vacation rental properties in the Bahamas. If you enjoy taking ownership of the accounting function, preparing accurate financial reports, and collaborating with property managers and external professionals, this role is for you. This is a full-time position supporting a team in the Bahamas, so flexibility to work during their business hours is required.

What you will do
- Manage the full accounting cycle, from recording daily transactions through month-end close and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, journal entries, accruals,



and account adjustments.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and supported.
- Reconcile booking revenue from vacation rental platforms and property management systems.
- Record owner income, commissions, management fees, cleaning fees, taxes, operating expenses, security deposits, refunds, and other guest-related transactions.
- Monitor occupancy-related revenue, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate accounting at both the property and portfolio levels.
- Process accounts payable, manage vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments.
- Track accounts receivable, owner contributions, reimbursements, and outstanding balances.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, Budget vs. Presente analyses, and property-level profitability reports.
