Seeking contractor support to help our NYDFS and compliance teams by executing a repeatable, evidence-driven program for annual NYDFS attestations. This engagement is focused on NYDFS evidence collection/maintenance and other repeatable compliance activities (e.g., ARA-related tasks) that can produce impact quickly.
Engagement Objective (What We Need Help With)
We are looking for 1–2 contractors to fill gaps, reduce strain on current TAMs, and coordinate the NYDFS evidence effort across business owners and vendors.
Coordinate across business owners, IT owners, and vendors to request, collect, validate, organize, and maintain NYDFS attestation evidence (5 artifacts per application).
Support remediation of compliance gaps, including risk assessments that are out of compliance.
Provide lightweight project management support to compliance and audit teams (tracking, status updates, and risk/issue escalation).
Provide a practical plan to improve annual NYDFS attestation process (workflow, templates, cadence, quality checks, and metrics).
Role Summary:
TAM Contractor (Compliance/NYDFS Focus)
As our Technical Application Manager Contractor (TAM), you will report to the Application Compliance Manager and will be responsible for maintaining applications from an internal policy and regulatory compliance perspective. You will work with business and IT application owners to perform ongoing inventory maintenance to ensure that applications remain compliant with internal policies and evolving regulatory directives. You will work closely with external application vendor contacts to ensure application compliance and will drive effort to ensure our applications and data remain secure. You will be responsible for coordinating across business owners and vendors to request, collect, validate, organize, and maintain required NYDFS attestation documentation and artifacts, as well as perform regular health checks of the application inventory.
