Production Planner
Location: Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage integrated production schedules for Oil & Gas operations.
- Coordinate activities across Production, Operations, Finance, Contracts, Logistics, and Engineering.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, scope, risks, resources, and schedules.
- Monitor operational progress and implement corrective actions when required.
- Support short-, medium-, and long-term production planning strategies.
- Integrate production, reservoir, and financial data to support decision-making.
- Develop and track operational KPIs and performance reports.
- Lead cross-functional teams through collaboration, influence, and effective communication.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline.
- PMP Certification or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas production operations.




- 3-5 years of experience in production planning and operational scheduling.
- Proven experience in budget management, risk assessment, and project scope control.
- Strong knowledge of production operations, reservoir concepts, and financial drivers within the petroleum industry.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools.
- Project management and strategic planning methodologies.
- KPI development and performance monitoring.
- Advanced Excel skills.
