Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Controls Engineer to provide technical support and leadership for industrial control systems used in manufacturing processes. This role is responsible for improving system performance, reliability, and efficiency through advanced troubleshooting, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Controls Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, lead technical efforts, and support operational excellence by leveraging data-driven decision-making and strong engineering fundamentals.

Experience leading automation or capital improvement projects
Strong analytical skills with experience tracking KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and equipment availability




Knowledge of advanced problem-solving methodologies (A3, 8D, Ishikawa)
Experience working in high-volume manufacturing environments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
5+ years of experience in industrial controls within a manufacturing environment
Conversational English (required)
Proven experience managing teams of 20–25 people
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programming (ControlLogix, MicroLogix)
Experience programming HMIs (PanelView Plus) and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
Strong troubleshooting skills with Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet networks
Experience with preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs
Solid knowledge of electrical systems, control and relay logic, and electronics
Knowledge in TPM methodology
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
