Roles and Responsibilities
- Support mechanical engineering activities related to new make hardware.:
- Collect, organize, and analyze technical and manufacturing data from shops and suppliers.
- Learn from cross-functional teams like design engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supplier teams to support hardware delivery and issue resolution.
- Assist in the evaluation of non-conformances for assigned hardware.
- Support technical assessments, substantiations and follow-up actions for hardware or process deviations, under mentor guidance.
- Participate in root cause analysis, problem-solving efforts, and corrective/preventive action development.
- Help track and communicate status of technical issues, risks, and action plans to key stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Perform self-check of work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
Qualification / Requirements
- Student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
- English skills: must be able to maintain a conversation in English.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions/tolerances, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to work on technical problems in a structured manner.
- Proven organizational skills and ability to manage assigned tasks with autonomy.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Proven analytical and organizational abilities.
- Accountable and strong learning/continuous improvement mindset
- Open team player and strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with quality tools, root cause analysis, or visual management tools is a plus.
- In-person work is required at our offices in Querétaro, México.
