Role Definition
Supervisor of a team of engineers who will collaborate with mechanical design engineers in the integration and design of robotic cells with tooling, focusing on the automation of processes within the metal-mechanical industry
Responsibilities
Design and Development of Automated Systems
- Develop and engineer automation solutions, including work cells, production lines, and control systems, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and industry standards.

System Integration
- Integrate mechanical, electrical,



and control components into fully functional automated systems, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Testing, Commissioning, and Validation
- Lead or support system testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring proper functionality prior to production release.

Process Improvement and Optimization
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for automation, improving efficiency, reliability, and cycle times through continuous improvement initiatives.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support
- Diagnose and resolve automation-related issues, providing advanced technical support to production and maintenance teams.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure that all automated systems comply with applicable safety regulations and standards, including the implementation of safety controls and risk assessments.
