Position: Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Transformers

Location: Mexico City, Mexico – Hybrid

Your Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in power transformer electrical design.
- Strong knowledge of transformer design principles, electrical calculations, and analytical software.
- Experience with IEEE C57, ANSI, and IEC standards.
- Experience working with utilities, consulting engineers, and EPC customers.
- Experience with transformer design software such as ACADEM, TRES, ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL, MATLAB, or equivalent is preferred.

What You'll Do:
- Lead the electrical design and technical review of large power transformers.
- Perform calculations related to impedance, losses, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, dielectric design, insulation coordination, and cooling systems.
- Participate in customer design reviews and provide technical support to utilities and consulting firms.
- Support factory acceptance tests, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and field technical investigations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
