Position Summary The Director of Research & Development (R&D;) will be responsible for leading the Company's product development and innovation strategy, overseeing the development of new products, and continuous improvement of existing products. This position directs laboratory operations, product commercialization, manufacturing process development, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet quality, regulatory, operational, and business objectives. The Director provides leadership, technical expertise, and strategic direction to the R&D; organization while fostering innovation and continuous improvement. Lead the development, reformulation, and commercialization of new and existing products. Direct laboratory operations and manage departmental priorities, resources, and technical personnel. Oversee product development from concept through commercial production, including formulation, stability, compatibility, pilot batches, scale-up, and manufacturing transfer.



Provide technical leadership and resolve formulation and manufacturing challenges during product development and production. Develop, implement, and continuously improve laboratory procedures, documentation, and technical processes. Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to support product development and successful product launches. Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, and internal procedures. Lead, mentor, and develop R&D; personnel through coaching, performance management, and professional development. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline required; Minimum of 10 years of progressive product development experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
