ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the activities of the Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP), ensuring that quality engineers meet response times and specific customer requirements.




- Manage the customer complaint handling system ensuring that quality engineers use appropriate problem-solving methodologies.
- Keep the databases updated regarding the status of corrective and preventive actions, both internal and external.
- Coordinate quality planning activities.
- Establish and maintain documented product quality procedures.
- Identify and acquire any controls, processes, equipment (including equipment inspection and testing), accessories, resources and skills necessary to meet the required quality.
- Identify and prepare product quality records.
- Manage the development and preservation of documentation related to the Production Parts Approval Process as well as representative samples of these process.
- Preserve documentation of quality plans as indicated by document and data retention procedures.
