We are seeking a senior-level Azure Local & AVD expert to own the design, deployment, and operational excellence of these environments.
Role Overview
This role is responsible for the architecture, deployment, and lifecycle management of Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI)



environments running Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) at scale. You will work closely with Arcadion’s Cloud, Security, and Field Engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade VDI platforms for healthcare, government, and commercial clients.
You will be the technical authority for everything related to:
- Azure Local clusters
- Azure Arc integration
- AVD session hosts, images, and policies
- GPU-accelerated VDI
- High-availability, security, and performance optimization

Core Responsibilities
Azure Local & Infrastructure
- Design and deploy Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) clusters
- Configure Azure Arc, cluster registration, and hybrid management
- Implement software-defined storage (S2D), networking, and failover clustering
- Integrate with Arcadion private cloud, backup, and DR platforms
- Support GPU-enabled hosts (NVIDIA A-series, MIG, vGPU)

Azure Virtual Desktop
- Architect and deploy AVD host pools (pooled & pers
