Job Purpose and Impact

The Category Insights Lead will apply full knowledge to develop a deep and forward-looking understanding of customer, consumer, category and destination-market dynamics across the food value chain, supporting strategic commercial decisions and customer-driven growth priorities for Cargill Food Mexico.

In this role,



you will research and analyze complex and varied data sources, including customer and market information, competitive intelligence, consumer and shopper trends, business environment, market dynamics and competition, to identify relevant opportunities for customers and for Cargill.

You will translate market intelligence into actionable insights and recommendations that support innovation, differentiated customer value propositions, portfolio priorities, and Where to Play and How to Win decisions. You will also generate relevant and compelling category-based insights for commercial and cross-functional teams, helping strengthen Cargill’s position as a strategic innovation and growth partner for its customers.
