The Ford Purchasing team adds critical value to the entire organization. You’ll help us source the highest quality parts and services from around the globe while ensuring optimal cost and on-time delivery. You’ll also contribute to establishing a robust supply chain so that we can continually produce the vehicles our customers want.

As a Procurement Buyer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our business has the materials, components, and services it needs — exactly when it needs them. Working closely with experienced Category Managers, you'll learn firsthand how strategic sourcing decisions are made while gaining hands-on ownership of the purchasing process. This is an opportunity to develop your procurement expertise, sharpen your negotiation skills, and directly contribute to the efficiency and resilience of our supply chain.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

Create, process, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely, accurate procurement of goods, materials, components, and services.
Expedite critical orders and proactively resolve delays to keep production and operations on schedule.
