The Data Engineer helps build and maintain the
analytics platform that supports the business as it grows
, building
pipelines, data models, and infrastructure
that power reporting, analytics, and data products across the company, working under the guidance of senior data engineers and analytics leadership.
This is a
hands-on role
for someone who enjoys solving data problems and wants to grow their skills building a SaaS company’s analytics foundation.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain
ELT/ETL pipelines
that ingest, transform, and deliver data from production systems, third-party APIs, and SaaS tools into the data warehouse.
- Contribute to
data models and warehouse structures
(e.g., in Snowflake or a similar cloud data warehouse) under the direction of senior engineers, with an eye toward scalability.
- Partner with analytics, product, and business teams to translate reporting and analytics requirements into data models, with senior support on complex or ambiguous requirements.
- Build and maintain
data quality checks and testing
to help ensure trusted, accurate data across the organization.
- Apply modern data engineering practices, including
version-controlled transformations (e.g., dbt), CI/CD for data pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code
.
