This role includes accurate and timely auditing of expenses and responding to Expense Compliance queries. The Analyst will work closely with internal employees, Executive and Administrative Assistants (EAs/AAs) who support the Firm's Partners, Principals, and Managing Directors (PPMDs), resolving expense compliance and reimbursement matters by ensuring employees' compliance/adherence to the Firm's expense and reimbursement policies.
Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Firm's Expense and Reimbursement Policies.
- Gain greater understanding of the end-to-end business.
- Work independently.
- Perform analytical audits to identify instances of non-compliance, spending patterns, unusual data trends, and potential fraud/abuse.
- Research discrepancies identified during audit, determine an appropriate course of action for resolving issues based on results of the audit.
- Provide timely report and metrics to Management as required.
- Communicate effectively with employees and PPMDs.
- Follow-up on results of review and analysis; develop draft reports as needed; develop recommendations for improving policy and/or procedure.
- Prioritize important time-based tasks (Both primary and team tasks) and continuously strive to improve review processes to ensure appropriate level of coverage is completed in an efficient manner.
- Interact with respective Team Leads and Managers to resolve issues of a highly confidential or sensitive nature.
- Own and deliver responsibilities with quality and within the required timeline.
- Timely response to customer queries related to expense compliance.
- Manage Corporate card delinquency and cancelations.
