About the Role

A U.S.-based law firm is seeking a Bilingual Case Manager / Document Collector with Bankruptcy experience to join its team remotely.

This role is adecuado for someone highly organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating directly with clients while managing the documentation required throughout the bankruptcy process. The right candidate will have prior experience supporting a
U.S. bankruptcy law firm
and understand the importance of accuracy, follow-up, and deadlines when preparing bankruptcy cases.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned bankruptcy cases and maintain consistent follow-up with clients.
- Collect financial and supporting documentation required for bankruptcy filings.
- Request and organize documents such as bank statements, pay stubs, tax returns, identification documents, creditor information,



and other financial records.
- Review documentation for completeness and follow up with clients regarding missing or incomplete information.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
- Update client and case information within the firm's case management system.
- Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish regarding documentation, deadlines, and case requirements.
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with preparing and filing cases.
- Track deadlines, outstanding documentation, and pending client requirements.
- Follow up consistently with clients to keep cases moving forward.
- Assist with general administrative and case management responsibilities related to bankruptcy matters.

Requirements
- Previous experience working with a U.S. bankruptcy law firm is required.
- Experience as a Bankruptcy Case Manager, Legal Assistant, Document Collector, or similar role.
