Job Description
As Supply Continuity Analyst, you will be responsible for improve productivity, efficiency, flexibility, and reducing costs while securing material and mitigating supply constraints.
Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities.
- Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long-term corrective actions.
- Keep up to date on market trends within the assigned commodity to stay ahead of any potential risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity.
- Manage assigned commodities to proactively evaluate risk to supply based on operations plan, tier III/sub-supplier material stocking plans, and capacity.
- Document suppliers’ long-term plans and strategy to drive continuous improvement through regular audits of these plans.
