Role Description:
The English Teacher Volunteer in Mexico will be a full-time, on-site role based in Chihuahua, Mexico. The volunteer
will directly contribute to upskilling the literacy of the community in the basics of mathematics (numeracy), science, and languages.

Daily responsibilities include planning and preparing lessons, adapting teaching materials to learners’ needs, and assessing student progress through exercises, assignments, and informal evaluations. The volunteer will collaborate with local educators, support classroom management,



and contribute to extracurricular language activities or workshops.

The role also involves fostering intercultural understanding, providing a supportive learning environment, and representing AIESEC’s values in the local community.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Language skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and support diverse learners.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with students, school staff, and community members respectfully and inclusively.
- Candidates should demonstrate cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and willingness to work in a new environment and community in Chihuahua, Mexico.
- Candidates should be responsible, reliable, and committed to the full duration of the volunteer experience.
- English is required for the volunteer program.
