DAAB Contech is looking for a highly motivated and technically skilled
VDC Engineer
to join our growing team.
In this role, you will be responsible for independent BIM/VDC production, advanced modeling tasks, coordination support, and technical project execution. You will work closely with Job Captains, Project Managers, and other VDC team members to ensure models and project deliverables meet DAAB Contech’s quality and technical standards.
The idóneo candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of technical tasks while contributing to efficient project delivery.
Key Responsabilities
- Develop and maintain BIM/VDC models
- Execute independent and advanced modeling tasks
- Support clash detection and BIM/VDC coordination workflows
- Coordinate with Job Captains and project teams
- Take ownership of discipline-specific modeling and technical responsibilities
- Maintain company BIM/VDC modeling standards
- Support project deliverables and technical documentation
- Assist with technical problem-solving throughout project execution
- Participate in QA/QC processes and model reviews
- Identify and communicate modeling or coordination issues
- Support efficient project production and timely task completion
- Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM/VDC workflows
What We´re Looking For
- Experience in BIM/VDC modeling and project production
- Strong hands-on experience with Revit
- Understanding of BIM/VDC coordination workflows
- Experience with clash detection and model coordination
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Job Captains and project teams
- Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
- Experience with Navisworks and other BIM/VDC platforms
- 2 years of MEP modeling/coordination experience
