At Walmart, we’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solutions that support millions of customers and associates worldwide.
What will you do?
- Lead the discovery, design, and implementation of medium to large-scale software projects.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Guide and mentor small engineering teams, including offshore associates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.

- Tech Stack:
- Language: Java
- Framework: Spring Boot
- Databases: SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Neo4J
- Caching: Redis
- CI/CD: Continuous Integration & Deployment
- APIs & Web Services: Experience building and consuming RESTful services
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field + 5 years of experience, or Master’s degree + 4 years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven experience leading technology projects and mentoring engineers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Preferred:
- Experience with infrastructure technologies (e.g., routers, switches, servers).
- Cisco certification is a plus.
