Position Summary:
IT Infrastructure Support Specialists deploy and support the systems and technologies required by corporate, manufacturing, and distribution center users in a general enterprise environment. In addition to supporting all technology needs of Polaris employees, IT Infrastructure Support Specialists may also assist in providing local hands-on support for corporate tier 3 IS teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments (on‑premises and/or cloud such as Azure or AWS).
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
Knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity/access management tools.




Exposure to ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
Hands‑on experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation tasks.
Experience supporting backup, disaster recovery, and high‑availability systems.
Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune).
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and vulnerability management.
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments (OT / shop‑floor systems is a plus).
Certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+), Microsoft (Azure, Windows Server), Cisco (CCNA), or similar.
Strong troubleshooting mindset with ability to diagnose complex infrastructure issues.
Experience working in a ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) and SLA‑driven environment.
Ability to support multi‑site or global operations.
