Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Design mechanical structures for switchboards, switchgear, and panelboards
- Design copper and aluminum busbar systems
- Develop 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Review and approve manufacturing drawings
- Coordinate projects from engineering through production
- Track timelines, deliverables, and cost targets
- Provide technical support to production, quality, and testing teams
- Troubleshoot design issues and implement corrective actions
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and 8D problem-solving
- Standardize designs and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- +7 years of experience in industrial mechanical design
- Experience with switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, or MCCs




- Knowledge of manufacturing processes (laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, welding)
- Experience with UL standards (891, 1558, 67, 508A)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of busbar design, metal structures, and enclosures
- Advanced English proficiency (+80%)
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
