- Position Overview:
EOSOL Group is seeking a Field Service & Commissioning Engineer with experience in Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems to support the commissioning, testing, maintenance, and technical service of MV switchgear, protection, and control systems.
This position requires advanced English and TN Visa or valid U.S. work authorization, as the role involves direct interaction with U.S.based clients and international engineering teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform commissioning and start-up of Medium Voltage switchgear and electrical distribution equipment.
- Execute FAT, SAT, functional testing, and commissioning activities.
- Configure and test protection relays and control systems.
- Configure industrial communication systems and network devices.
- Coordinate on-site equipment installation and energization activities.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MV electrical equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in the field.
- Support troubleshooting of protection and control systems.
- Deliver technical training to customers during commissioning and handover.
- Prepare commissioning reports, service documentation, and technical records.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and commissioning procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electromechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Automation & Control Engineering
- Related discipline
- Technical Associate Degree (Electrical or Electromechanical) will also be considered.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in:
- Medium Voltage commissioning
- Field Service Engineering
- Protection & Control Systems
- Electrical Substations
- Power Distribution Systems
- Technical Skills:
Experience with:
- Mediu
