Responsibilities:
Understand internal and external customer design requirements.

Create design.

Communicate design.

Validate design.

Launch product.

Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.

Capture lessons learned.

Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.

Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.

Communicate effectively both internally and externally.

Manage program risk.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,



or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)

0-4+ years of experience in automotive interiors.

Position requires travel, including overnight travel.

Ability to learn new tasks quickly

Computer proficient (Word, Excel, typing)

Office Equipment proficient (Fax, Scanner, Copiers, Printers, etc.)

High communications skills, both written and verbal
