Job Title: Spanish-English Bilingual Medical Administrative Specialist – Prior Authorization & Insurance Verification

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM PDT

Pay Rate: $6-$8 USD per hour

The practice works closely with patients, healthcare providers, insurance companies, and specialist offices to keep the administrative side of patient care moving efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced Spanish-English Bilingual Medical Administrative Specialist – Prior Authorization & Insurance Verification who is comfortable taking ownership of prior authorizations, insurance verification, medical clearance follow-ups, scheduling support, and patient communication.

You'll work closely with the Practice Manager, scheduling team, patients, provider offices, and other members of the practice.



The adecuado candidate doesn't need constant supervision—you know how to follow up, stay organized, identify what needs attention, and take initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Prior Authorization Management & Follow-Up
- Process and manage prior authorization requests from start to finish.
- Track pending authorizations and proactively follow up on outstanding cases.
- Maintain accurate status updates and ensure cases continue moving forward.
- Notify the scheduling team as soon as cases have been cleared and are ready for scheduling.
- Identify delays or missing information and take appropriate follow-up action.

Insurance Verification
- Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and benefits.
- Review and confirm insurance information before appointments and procedures.
- Handle insurance verification involving Medicare patients and Medicare-related requirements.
- Communicate with insurance companies when additional information or clarif
