Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer-SMT Technical Lead, located at Guadalajara North Campus. Reporting to the Process Manager,



this role will oversee and optimize our manufacturing operations, with a critical and specialized focus on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) processes, which serve as the primary technical differentiator and top priority for this role. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the integrity of SMT manufacturing processes, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to quality standards, and driving continuous innovation through Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Additionally, this role serves as the primary technical point of contact for international clients, providing leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers to ensure project scalability, robustness, and success.
What a typical day looks like:
- Supervise technical activities in SMT processes and coordinate the team.
- Develop and optimize programs for DEK, SPI, Camalot, and Press Fit equipment.
