We are seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to lead and strengthen Environmental, Health & Safety programs within a manufacturing organization. This position will play a key role in building a proactive safety culture , ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing operational risks, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. Core Areas - Act as a strategic EHS partner to Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Maintenance, Materials, and Quality. - Lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the site's EHS Management System. - Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as relevant management system and customer requirements, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001. - Establish and monitor EHS performance metrics, leading indicators, and improvement initiatives. - Lead environmental, health, and safety audits and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions. - Oversee the management, storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials and waste.



- Maintain regulatory compliance, permits, reporting, and required government submissions. - Develop and maintain emergency response and contingency plans in coordination with relevant authorities and internal teams. - Serve as the site's EHS representative and lead auditor for applicable ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 activities. - Provide constructive challenge to site leadership to drive risk reduction, prevention, and continuous improvement. - Lead and develop the EHS team and manage assigned contractors and service providers. - Provide EHS support and coordination across Mexico sites. - Promote a culture where employees actively identify risks, report unsafe conditions, and take ownership of workplace safety. - Maintain the authority to escalate non-compliance and stop operations when environmental or safety conditions present a significant risk to employees or violate established management systems.
