PRODUCT ENGINEER IV (LEAD PRODUCT ENGINEER)
Job Summary
Leads the day-to-day execution of Product Engineering activities within an assigned workcell or customer account. Coordinates engineering resources, prioritizes technical activities, drives issue resolution, and ensures successful execution of product lifecycle, NPI, engineering changes, and customer-driven initiatives. Acts as the primary technical leader for the workcell, providing direction and coordination across Product Engineers, Engineering Technicians, and cross-functional teams to achieve quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction objectives.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Leads the execution of Product Engineering activities within an assigned workcell or customer account.
- Coordinates and prioritizes engineering workload among Product Engineers and Engineering Technicians to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Serves as the primary technical escalation point for complex product, manufacturing, and customer issues.




- Leads cross-functional teams in resolving technical challenges impacting quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
- Drives implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Engineering Change Notices (ECN), product revisions, and configuration management activities.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI), product transfers, qualifications, and product lifecycle management activities.
- Coordinates engineering readiness for new product launches, engineering changes, and customer requirements.
- Tracks and drives closure of engineering action items, risks, and technical deliverables.
- Interfaces directly with customers regarding technical concerns, project status, engineering changes, corrective actions, and escalations.
- Participates in customer meetings, technical reviews, audits, and business discussions as required.
