Are you a hands-on Cloud Engineer with a passion for infrastructure automation, OS/database administration, and troubleshooting? We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to deliver administration, maintenance, and optimization for shared cloud environments
? Key Position Details:
Role: Cloud Engineer
Modality: 100% Remote (Must be based in Mexico)
Type: Contractor / Freelance
Rate: $23 - $25 USD / hr
Duration: Confirmed until EOY (End of Year)
? What You’ll Be Doing:
Deliver ongoing administration, tuning, and maintenance of shared cloud environments.
Build, configure, and implement automation scripts for cloud lifecycle and operational performance.
Support web interfaces, DNS, IP configurations, and firewalls for customer environments.
Troubleshoot complex incidents alongside architects, network, and development escalation teams.
Provide clear communication to customers regarding updates, status, and root-cause analysis.
Apply industry best practices and standards (e.g., ITIL, TOGAF,



PMP frameworks).
? Must-Have Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise or cloud infrastructure.
100% Bilingual (English / Spanish) — strong written and verbal customer-facing communication.
Deep understanding of virtualization, UNIX systems, and OS/Database administration.
Solid background in networking, storage, server design principles, and troubleshooting (DNS, IP, Firewalls).
Strong scripting and automation skills (command line tools, API integration technologies).
Passion for cloud tooling, infrastructure optimization, and automation.
