Job SummaryJob Summary: Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Failure Analysis Engineer – Power Electronics located in Guadalajara, North Campus. This role is responsible for leading complex failure analysis activities on power electronics products (AC/DC, DC/DC,



LLC topologies), driving root cause identification, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives across NPI and high-volume manufacturing. The position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, while developing diagnostic capabilities, processes, and technical expertise at the site level.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead failure analysis activities for power electronics products, identifying electrical, component, design, and system-level failures.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions （RCCA） to resolve complex production and field issues.
- Define and implement failure analysis methodologies, debug strategies, and diagnostic processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze test logs, CPK data, burn-in （BI） data, and reliability trends to identify systemic and recurring failures.
