Description

Supports Align manufacturing operations. This person shall quickly understand Align’s integral manufacturing operations, collect new requirements, and work with development, local Business Analysts, and other teams to provide business-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Attend global as well as local meetings to participate in business requirements discussions with cross functional teams.
Write software requirements specifications and other documents following IT processes and Align SOPs.
Provide qualitative and, where possible, quantitative analysis of business processes to identify, and help prioritize, opportunities for improvement.
Help steer business users to solutions appropriate for the maturity level of the processes and the available technology.
Contribute input to the development team when new or enhanced business solutions are proposed.
Assist business users and local Business Analysts with preparing user acceptance test cases.




Assist business users and local Business Analysts in administering user acceptance tests.
Assess impact of business requests before release.
Measure expected possible benefits and collect user feedback after release

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

5+ years of experience in either a) Software Development, b) Software Quality Assurance, or c) Software Business Analysis, with 4+ years of hands-on experience within a Manufacturing Operations environment.
Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
Capability to quickly learn current business flows in production.
Wilingness to learn MES solution architecture and industry-accepted manufacturing operations management principles.
Participation in research to determine if solutions to business requirements are feasible.
Good writing skills with formal documentation, especially in writing business requirements.
