About MetriSense

MetriSense is a Mexican healthtech startup at pre-Seed stage, a university research spin-off (Tec de Monterrey / University of Houston) developing a point-of-care diagnostic device for metabolic syndrome. We are closing our Seed round and building the founding team.

The role

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO as a force multiplier for his execution capacity. This is not an executive assistant role and not a commercial role: it is strategic operations — taking the CEO's objectives and turning them into measurable weekly progress across every front of the company.

You will report directly to the CEO and operate at the intersection of corporate governance, fundraising, scientific-regulatory coordination, and team building.

Responsibilities

Executive cadence: manage the CEO's priority agenda against the company roadmap; prepare and follow up on sessions with co-founders, board, advisors, and investors; ensure every agreement has an owner, a date, and follow-through.
Fundraising ops: maintain the investor CRM, data room,



and version control of materials (deck, one-pagers, financial model); coordinate the logistics of the raise and prepare the CEO for every conversation.
Cross-functional coordination: serve as the operational bridge between the CEO and the scientific (CTO, researchers), regulatory, legal, and commercial fronts — track cross-team dependencies and escalate blockers early.
Governance and documentation: own the company's single source-of-truth tracker; prepare minutes, decision memos, and progress reports for shareholders.
Special projects: analysis and execution of direct assignments from the CEO — from market benchmarks to preparing applications for programs and grants.

Who we're looking for

3+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, VC, startup operations, or other high-rigor analytical and execution roles.
