Objective
The Sourcing Assistant supports the sourcing and product development team by coordinating administrative and operational tasks related to product development, raw materials tracking, sample preparation, and system documentation.
This role helps ensure smooth execution of development timelines by maintaining accurate information, supporting vendor communication, and assisting with material and sample management.

Key Responsibilities
Development Support
Assist the sourcing team with daily development follow-ups to ensure timelines are maintained.
Track development status and update internal tracking tools and PLM accordingly.
Support coordinators with sample follow-up and vendor communication when required.
Raw Materials Support
Support raw materials development including trims, fabrics, and components.
Maintain raw material documentation and ensure materials are correctly registered in PLM.
Coordinate material requests and sample swatches.
Sample Coordination
Prepare and organize samples for internal reviews and meetings.
Track incoming and outgoing samples with vendors.




Ensure samples are properly labeled, documented, and stored.
Documentation & System Management
Maintain accurate and updated information across sourcing tools, including:
PLM updates
Development tracking tools
Sample logs
Vendor documentation
Ensure all information related to development is correctly uploaded and accessible to the team.
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with shipment coordination, sample logistics, and documentation.
Support invoice tracking and internal administrative processes when required.
Prepare development folders and materials for internal reviews.
Vendor Communication Support
Assist coordinators with vendor follow-up regarding sample status, materials, or documentation.
Ensure vendor communications are properly documented and tracked.
