Manufacturing Supervisor-Stamping

YOUR ROLE

In your daily job you will:
- Ensure a safe work environment with zero accidents.
- Communicate safety updates and lead regular team meetings.
- Monitor production plans and ensure daily adherence.
- Coordinate with Production Control for planning and priorities.
- Manage headcount, attendance, and team performance.
- Oversee downtime, efficiency, and labor optimization.
- Develop and coach team members and future supervisors.
- Follow up on critical shipments and production issues.
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and 5S standards.
- Monitor quality metrics, defects, and corrective actions (FTQ, scrap, KPIs).
- Ensure proper training and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead shift handovers and communicate key updates.
- Support audits, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:
- +5 years of experience in stamping/die processes (strong expertise in die processes)
- Experience in the automotive industry.




- Practical knowledge of progressive dies.
- Knowledge of stamping processes using high-speed presses (30T - Minster).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in die and process failures to restore optimal production output.- Experience managing personnel (direct reports).
- Ability to monitor and control KPIs (OEE, scrap, cycle time, downtime).
- Experience collaborating with Quality and Maintenance to resolve deviations and validate tooling.
- Ability to react quickly to line stoppages or quality issues.
- Solid knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, SMED, problem-solving methods such as 8D and Ishikawa).
- Results-driven mindset and continuous improvement focus.
- Intermediate English
