We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll operations for employees in Mexico. This position will be a 6–9-month contract. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with Mexican labor and tax regulations, and the delivery of exceptional payroll support to employees and stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical payroll expertise, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively across Human Resources, Finance, and external service providers.

We want to hear from you if you:
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Have 3–5 years of payroll processing experience in Mexico.
- Possess strong knowledge of:
- Mexican Labor Law (Ley Federal del Trabajo)
- IMSS (Instituto Mexicano del Confiable Social)
- INFONAVIT
- SAT and ISR tax regulations
- Payroll tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements
- Have experience with payroll systems such as ADP, SAP, UKG,



Oracle, Workday, or local Mexican payroll platforms.
- Demonstrate advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas.
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Processing & Administration
- Process weekly, biweekly, and monthly payroll cycles accurately and on schedule.
- Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and final settlements.
- Manage employee payroll-related transactions, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
