Position: Senior Electrical Engineer – Power Transformers Location: Mexico City, Mexico – Hybrid

Your Key Qualifications:
~ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
~7+ years of experience in power transformer electrical design.
~ Strong knowledge of transformer design principles, electrical calculations, and analytical software.
~ Experience with IEEE C57, ANSI, and IEC standards.
~ Experience working with utilities, consulting engineers, and EPC customers.
~ Experience with transformer design software such as ACADEM, TRES, ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL, MATLAB, or equivalent is preferred.

What You’ll Do:
Lead the electrical design and technical review of large power transformers.
Perform calculations related to impedance, losses, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, dielectric design, insulation coordination, and cooling systems.
Participate in customer design reviews and provide technical support to utilities and consulting firms.
Support factory acceptance tests, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and field technical investigations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
