Role Description This full-time remote Lead Software Engineer role is responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable backend systems and services. The Lead Software Engineer will architect solutions, review technical designs, write high-quality code, and ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering. Responsibilities include mentoring and guiding engineers, conducting code reviews, improving development workflows, and collaborating with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ship reliable features. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, optimizing performance, and contributing to long-term technical roadmaps and standards. The Lead Software Engineer will participate in planning sessions, provide technical estimates, and help maintain a culture of continuous improvement and inclusive collaboration.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
Demonstrated experience in Software Development and Programming,



with a focus on building production-quality applications.
Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, microservices, and database integration.
Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and patterns, with practical application in large codebases.
Experience leading engineering teams or projects, including mentoring, technical guidance, and code reviews.
Knowledge of modern development practices such as CI/CD, automated testing, and version control (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies is beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a distributed, remote-first environment.
