We are currently recruiting a Senior Controller to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
Development & Construction Phase
Monitor and control capex deployment for projects in development and construction, tracking actual spend against approved budgets by WBS / cost element (PEPs).
Identify and report budget deviations during development and construction, proposing corrective actions to project and finance leadership.
Support financial closing processes for projects reaching Notice to Proceed (NTP) and Ready to Build (RTB) milestones.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) teams to align payment milestones and S-curve progress with financial data.
Support project financing processes, including financial model review, drawdown requests, and lender / covenant reporting during construction.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requirement analyses for projects under development and construction.
Operational Phase
Lead financial controlling for assets once they reach commercial operation (COD), including monthly and quarterly P&L; closing and variance analysis vs. budget.
Monitor cash position, CFADS / CAFD and distributions for operating assets, ensuring compliance with debt covenants and shareholder agreements.
Prepare management reporting packages (P&L;, KPIs, budget vs. presente) for operating assets, for local leadership and corporate / regional finance.
Coordinate with Asset Management and O&M; teams to ensure financial data reflects operational performance (availability, generation, revenue).
Lead annual budgeting and periodic reforecasting exercises for operating assets in the Mexico portfolio.
