Role Objective

Lead the commercial strategy in Mexico, driving profitable and sustainable growth by strengthening the broker and agent network, expanding market opportunities, and ensuring a balanced approach between new business generation and portfolio retention.

Must-haves

• Solid experience within the insurance sector (Health, Life, Personal Accident)

• Advanced English

• Proven track record leading commercial teams and sales organizations

• Experience building, developing, and activating broker and/or agent networks

• Demonstrated ability to deliver growth with a strong focus on profitability

• Sound business judgment and decision-making capabilities

• Credibility and well-established relationships within the insurance market

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in regional or multinational insurance environments

• Exposure to commercial transformation or business evolution initiatives

• Experience developing new markets or customer segments





• Postgraduate education in business, strategy, or leadership

• Ability to navigate both strategic and hands-on execution effectively

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the commercial strategy for both new business and renewals

• Deliver on sales and retention targets across business lines

• Build and strengthen relationships with brokers, agents, and strategic partners

• Lead, develop, and inspire the commercial team

• Identify and unlock new business opportunities (corporate, multinational, SME segments)

• Diversify the client portfolio and sales channels

• Partner closely with General Management in shaping country strategy

• Contribute to the evolution of the value proposition and product offering

• Oversee commercial performance, KPIs, and reporting

• Manage commercial budgets, campaigns, and resource allocation
