The AI Transformation & Controls (ATAC) team sits at the forefront of redefining how Walmart approaches accounting, controls, and digital compliance. As a key contributor within this organization, you will help shape the future of financial operations by driving automation, AI enablement, and data‑driven insights. Working in close partnership with Controllership, Operations, and General Internal Controls (GIC), you will advance the Digital Accountant initiative—transforming traditional accounting activities into streamlined, technology‑powered processes that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Execute automation initiatives
by preparing data inputs, configuring automation tools, and delivering digitized journal entries, reconciliations, reports, and controls. Implement AI‑enabled solutions
in partnership with Controllership and Operational Accounting, supporting solution testing, deployment, and stabilization. Support day‑to‑day implementation
of Digital Accountant workflows, ensuring processes operate effectively and resolving issues or blockers in coordination with project teams. Provide hands‑on guidance
