We are looking for a hands-on Storage Systems Engineer for Large US hedge fund to support and improve large-scale Linux-base
dstorage platforms. This role focuses on keeping production storage reliable and performant, troubleshootin
gfilesystem and client-side issues, executing safe changes and migrations, and automating repetitiv
eoperational work. You will work closely with infrastructure, datacenter, vendor, and business teams acros
sglobal environments

Responsibilitie

• Maintain the reliability, performance, and availability of enterprise storage and filesystem servic
es.• Operate storage platforms such as GPFS / IBM Storage Scale, NFS, Pure, VAST, NetApp, and N
AS,block, and object storage syste
ms.• Troubleshoot storage, filesystem, multipath, and storage client issues in production, including laten
cy,contention, and capacity even
ts.• Monitor storage capacity, performance, and growth trends; respond to incidents and service degradatio
ns.• Manage quotas, snapshots, replication, tiering, and data lifecycle polici
es.• Perform production changes,



firmware and software upgrades, data migrations, and remediation w

ne.• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes and periodic restore testi
ng.• Develop scripts and automation tools using Python, Bash, or similar technologi
