As an Environmental Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all environmental regulations and standards, and that we maintain a safe and sustainable work environment. Kiewit Mexico provides construction and engineering services in transportation, oil, gas, chemical, power, building, water/wastewater, industrial, and mining industries.

Responsibilities

Develop and coordinate environmental compliance programs for all construction projects
Identify and evaluate environmental risks and impacts associated with construction activities
Oversee the implementation of environmental policies and procedures,



including training and awareness programs
Attend meetings with contractors, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to discuss environmental issues and concerns
Conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
Provide guidance and support to project teams to ensure that environmental issues are addressed in project planning and execution
Develop and maintain environmental reports and records

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
3 to 7 years of experience working in environmental compliance in the construction industry
Knowledge of environmental regulations and standards, including air and water quality, waste management, and hazardous materials
Experience with environmental management systems (EMS) and permits
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, contractors, and other stak
