**NPI and Labels Intern**:

As Process Quality NPI Intern your main goal is to lead the labels validation project for the whole site, also support Quality department to assure production of finish goods happens according to quality requirements and develop strategies to implement a zero-defects and continues improvement culture that strives for customer satisfaction.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Attend HSE investigation when required. Give close follow up to Hazards, Action Plans and HSE Compliance Calendar activities assigned.
- Participate in 5´s Program as auditor or area owner when required. Do weekly audits per schedule.
- Support in the closure follow up of Quality Concerns & Continuous Improvement Plans with Actions Owners with assigned tasks in the lines covered by Process Quality NPI Engineer.
- Support development of Work Instructions, Quality Gates, Quality Alerts & Validation Checklist for products.
- Support and Improve the printing and inspection process implemented for labelling.
- Redesigned labels when required by R & D, Product Management or Customer Complaints.




- Validate labels to transfer into Pragmatix; assure correct information, request modifications according to engineering draws, request draw generation by R&D; if needed, perform print tests, etc.
- Develop plan to validate all labels SKUs from Saltillo Legacy.
- Support in the resolution of quality or printing issues in label stations or site printers, such as wrong information on the labels, issues in Labels Softwares (Label View, Legitronic & Bartender) or request assistant in Pragmatyxs platform when needed.
- Lead project to generate a standardized central database with the labels of all the site SKUs (over 10 K) and the required information to print according to quality standards, such as, software required, blank size, template, designated printer, etc.
- Coordinate with people in label stations the design of label draws missed in Windchill, validate, and follow up with R&D; upload of designs in windchill structures.
- Support in labels deviations validating viability with R & D.
- Update label files of operations and R & D according to progress of validation plan, generation, design, and update of labels.

- Previous experience as intern desired or developing an academic project in the industry.
- Advanced English
- Skills: Proactive & results oriented profile, problem solving, analytical thinking, strong oral and writing communication, working well in a team.
